Job summary

I & F Limited (T/A Skills4Group) in Brighton is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team, training on the job while working toward a recognised apprenticeship. You will support customers at the counter, handle stock, assist with prescriptions under supervision, and learn pharmacy systems.

Full training is provided; no prior pharmacy experience required. The role offers hands-on experience in healthcare, with chance to gain a Level 2 Pharmacy

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential as training can be provided.
• For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent, initial tests determine suitability for the course.

Job description

BN2 1EA We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

About the role

As a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice, you will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, helping customers and working closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.
