Job summary

Brighton Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, assisting customers and working closely with the team to ensure safe and efficient service.

You will train for a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship alongside your role, with full training and support provided. Typical duties include counter assistance, prescription handling (under supervision), stock control, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided via the course.
• For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests.

Responsibilities

Job description

Working Week: Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm keen to hire a young starter (16 to 18) who has strong customer service skills, is willing to learn, and possesses good IT skills. As before, I need the person to be local.

Brief Description

BN2 4LW We are looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining hands‑on experience in a healthcare environment while working towards a recognised apprenticeship qualification.

Qualifications Required

GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 or equivalent, in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided as part of the course.

For applicants without Maths and English Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, employment will be offered on condition of completing initial Maths and English tests to determine suitability for the course.

Training to be Provided

Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) and Functional Skills if required.

Future Prospects

This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
