Job summary

Skills 4 Pharmacy in Nottingham is looking for a Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to support day-to-day pharmacy operations and help customers. You will complete a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with full training and support provided.

Responsibilities include assisting with prescriptions under supervision, stock handling, and using pharmacy systems while delivering excellent customer service within a team.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired.
• No previous pharmacy experience required; full training provided.
• Apprenticeship duration around 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer service.
