Job summary

Skills4Pharmacy in Gateshead is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will support the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, help customers, and work closely with the team to ensure safe and efficient service while completing a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

You will complete the apprenticeship alongside your job, with full training and support provided. No previous pharmacy experience is required as full training is given.

Qualifications

• GCSEs Math & English desirable but not essential; can be provided through the course.
• If Maths/English Level 2 not held, tests will determine suitability for the course.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and supply of prescriptions under supervision.
• Support customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain accurate records.
