Job summary

Circle Health Group is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant at Chelsfield Park Hospital in Kent. This 15-hour-per-week role is permanent and involves supporting the pharmacy team with medicine preparation, dispensing support, stock control, and patient enquiries.

The successful candidate will have good numeracy and literacy, customer service experience, and the ability to work under supervision as part of a small team in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and labelling of medicines for inpatients, outpatients, and discharge prescriptions under appropriate supervision.
• Support the safe supply of medicines, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and distribution to wards and departments.
• Monitor stock levels and expiry dates, helping maintain accurate inventory across the pharmacy and clinical areas.
• Assist with the completion of relevant records, prescription tracking, and data entry on pharmacy systems.
• Respond to basic enquiries from patients, nursing staff, or other colleagues in a professional and helpful manner.
• Adhere to all health and safety, infection prevention, and medicines management protocols.

Salary: Up to £27,000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join their team of staff in the Pharmacy department.

This is a part time role for 15 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Assist in the preparation and labelling of medicines for inpatients, outpatients, and discharge prescriptions under appropriate supervision.
• Support the safe supply of medicines, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and distribution to wards and departments.
