Circle Health Group is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant at Chelsfield Park Hospital in Kent. This part-time role covers 15 hours per week with flexible shift patterns, focusing on medicine preparation, stock control, and patient support within the Pharmacy department.

The successful candidate will join a team delivering safe, efficient pharmaceutical services. Relevant customer service or healthcare experience and good communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and labelling of medicines for inpatients, outpatients, and discharge prescriptions under supervision.
• Support the safe supply of medicines with accurate picking, packing and distribution to wards.
• Monitor stock levels and expiry dates to maintain inventory.
• Assist with records, prescription tracking, and data entry on pharmacy systems.
• Respond to basic enquiries from patients and staff in a professional manner.
• Adhere to health and safety, infection prevention, and medicines management protocols.

Salary: Up to £27,000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Pharmacy Assistant to join their team of staff in thePharmacy department.

This is a part time role for 15 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.

Duties of this role include:

• Assist in the preparation and labelling of medicines for inpatients, outpatients, and discharge prescriptions under appropriate supervision.
• Support the safe supply of medicines, ensuring accurate picking, packing, and distribution to wards and departments.
• Monitor stock levels and expiry dates, helping maintain accurate inventory across the pharmacy and clinical areas.
• Assist with the completion of relevant records, prescription tracking, and data entry on pharmacy systems.
• Respond to basic enquiries from patients, nursing staff, or other colleagues in a professional and helpful manner.
• Adhere to all health and safety, infection prevention, and medicines management protocols.
