Job summary

Paydens invites a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing under supervision, uphold accuracy, and deliver outstanding customer service in a busy, friendly setting. Ideal candidates will have a pharmacy foundation (NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services preferred), strong teamwork, and computer literacy to use pharmacy software systems.

Comprehensive training and development are provided. Working hours include Monday 8:45–18:30, Tuesday 13:00–18:00, and Friday 09:30–18:00, with occasional weekend

Qualifications

• A foundation of pharmacy knowledge, with a preference for those holding an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills; displaying warmth, empathy, and patience.
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring the accuracy and safety of all pharmacy operations.
• Strong teamwork capabilities, thriving in a collaborative work setting.
• Computer literacy, comfortable with learning and utilising various pharmacy software systems.
• Outstanding communication traits, ability to problem-solve, and the initiative to adapt quickly in a bustling environment.

Responsibilities
