This role is crucial in supporting our pharmacy operations and delivering excellent customer service.

Your Role as a Pharmacy Assistant

• Assist in dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service, making patients feel heard, supported, and valued.
• Help maintain an organised and efficient workflow within the pharmacy team.
• Manage inventory by organising, stocking, and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceuticals.
• Use computer systems to process prescriptions, manage stock levels, and handle customer inquiries.
• Keep the pharmacy environment clean and orderly.

Who Are We Looking For?

The ideal candidate will have:

• Some pharmacy knowledge, preferably with an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating warmth, empathy, and patience.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and safety in pharmacy operations.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn pharmacy software systems.
• Good communication skills, problem-solving ability, and adaptability in a busy environment.
