We are recruiting for a Pharmacy Assistant who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and staff.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will undertake general supply and inventory management duties within the Pharmacy Department. You will support and assist all members of the Pharmacy Team and work towards a Level 2 qualification in Pharmacy Services (with our support).
The role requires applicants to have (or be willing to undertake) General Pharmaceutical Council approved qualifications in Pharmacy Services or equivalent as a minimum. You should possess good communication, literacy, numeracy, and basic computer skills, along with a positive attitude to work. The successful applicant will participate in the late night, weekend, and bank holiday rota.
You should have strong problem-solving, self-motivation, and organizational skills to be part of our Pharmacy Team.
The successful candidate will be expected to work effectively both alone and as part of a team.
