Exceptional patient-centred care is at the heart of everything we do. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you'll help patients feel good by providing clear advice and a wide range of dispensing services. You will work across the healthcare counter and dispensary to meet patients' needs, offering a great opportunity to develop your pharmacy career and make a difference in patients' lives.

What you’ll be doing day to day.

Providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, ensuring clear and accurate answers.

Your duties will include:

  2. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
  3. Ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
  5. Maintaining efficient dispensary operations and minimizing losses.

What you’ll need to have.

You should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required; if not completed, we will support your training within 6 months.

Your pay and benefits will reflect your qualifications and roles.
