The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

You will work across the healthcare counter and dispensary to meet patients' needs. This role offers a great opportunity to develop your pharmacy career and make a difference in patients' lives.

What you’ll be doing day to day

Your focus will be on providing health advice through focused conversations with patients, ensuring clear and accurate answers.

Your duties include:
  • Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
  • Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and professional requirements and guidelines.
  • Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
  • Ensuring efficient dispensary operations and minimizing dispensing losses.
What you’ll need to have

Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 equivalent in Pharmacy Services and relevant experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required, with support provided for training if not already completed.

Opportunities for further professional development include achieving NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services and potentially progressing to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician role, with pay and benefits reflecting your qualifications and roles.
