An established healthcare provider seeks a friendly and organized individual to join their Pharmacy Team. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, extending to 2.2 million with regional and national services.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a shift pattern from Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30.
We seek a friendly, organized individual with good communication skills to manage clerical and administrative tasks within our Pharmacy Team. The role involves handling routine enquiries from approximately 180 pharmacy staff, acting as the first point of contact, and ensuring timely and appropriate communication via face-to-face, telephone, or email interactions.
The post is based at Gartnavel General Hospital and Glasgow Royal Infirmary, with a weekly schedule split as follows: Monday-Wednesday 09:00-17:00, Thursday-Friday 09:00-17:00, with a 30-minute break each day.
Applicants should have three standard grades (or equivalent), including Mathematics and English, and basic IT skills. Previous hospital pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
