Job summary

Lincolnshire Co-Operative Limited in Kirton is seeking a Checking Technician to carry out final accuracy checks on dispensed prescriptions, ensuring correct medicines, labelling, dosage and patient information before they reach patients.

You will review prescriptions to identify anomalies, resolve issues with colleagues and prescribers, and help maintain stock quality and patient confidentiality in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out final accuracy checks on dispensed prescriptions to ensure correct medicines, labelling, dosage and patient information.
• Review prescriptions to identify anomalies or incomplete information and resolve concerns with colleagues and prescribers.
• Ensure medicines meet pharmacy, regulatory and safety requirements while maintaining quality and patient confidentiality.
• Support stock management and contribute to the safe and efficient running of the pharmacy.
