Lincolnshire Co-op is seeking a Checking Technician to ensure every prescription is accurate and safe before it reaches patients. You will perform final accuracy checks, review prescriptions for anomalies, and uphold pharmacy regulations while supporting the wider team.
You must hold a GPhC-recognised Accuracy Checking Technician qualification and be registered with the GPhC. The role offers a supportive environment, ongoing training and opportunities to grow within our collaborative community.
As a Checking Technician, you'll play a vital role in making sure our patients receive their medicines safely and accurately. It is a role where your attention to detail really matters. You'll review prescriptions, identify and resolve anomalies, check medicines against pharmacy and regulatory requirements, and work closely with colleagues and prescribers to make sure any concerns are addressed safely and efficiently.
Alongside checking prescriptions, you'll support the wider pharmacy team by maintaining high standards of quality and safety, helping with stock management and providing guidance on the safe and effective use of prescribed medicines. You'll also play an important part in maintaining patient confidentiality and creating a professional, organised pharmacy environment.
