Job Description

  • Dispense medications accurately and provide detailed advice to patients on their use.
  • Advise patients on over-the-counter health solutions, ensuring they receive appropriate care for minor ailments.
  • Support the pharmacy team in managing daily operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and professional standards, including managing controlled substances.
  • Help foster a positive and collaborative team environment, contributing to a strong community presence and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously expand your professional knowledge and stay current on pharmaceutical advancements.

The Successful Applicant

  • GPhC Registration: Must be a fully GPhC registered pharmacist in the UK, with a valid and active registration.
  • Career-Oriented: A candidate who is passionate about building a long-term career in pharmacy, with a desire to grow and develop within the business.
  • Team Player: Must demonstrate excellent teamwork skills, working effectively with colleagues, including pharmacy technicians, area managers, and other health-care professionals, to deliver exceptional care.
  • Pharmacy Experience: Mandatory: Proven experience as a pharmacist in a community or healthcare setting, ensuring the safe dispensing of medications and offering advice on their use. Desirable: Experience in a pharmacy management role would be highly beneficial, providing an understanding of both operational and clinical responsibilities
