Job summary

Day Lewis Pharmacy in Sible Hedingham is seeking a Pharmacist Manager for a 9-12 month maternity cover, starting December 2026. The role will suit someone with strong NHS service delivery experience and a track record of leading a busy community dispensary.

The position may be 3 or 5 days per week, with DBS clearance and valid GPhC registration required. Day Lewis offers a supportive team, development opportunities, and a focus on patient care within the local community.

• Proven experience managing a team, driving NHS services and overseeing a busy dispensary.
• GPhC registration is essential to practice.
• DBS check is required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Overall management and responsibility of the branch including dispensing, checking, and providing clinical services.
• Ensuring every member of the team has strong relationships with patients, GP Surgeries, and health care professionals.
• Lead the management of a professional and productive team.
• Delivery of company targets, staff management and patient safety.
