Job summary

Day Lewis Pharmacy Carisbrooke is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant for a part-time role (24 hours per week) with preferred hours of Monday to Wednesday 9am–6pm. Prior dispensing experience is welcome but full training can be provided, and you will support the Pharmacist Manager in delivering excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy or dispensing preferred but training provided.
• Part-time availability with preferred hours (Mon-Wed 9am-6pm).
• Excellent patient service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist Manager and dispensary to deliver a high level of patient care.
• Assist on the front counter and welcome patients.
• Be part of a small, dedicated team in a busy pharmacy.
• Develop relationships with patients and healthcare organisations.
• Support daily pharmacy operations and adhere to company policies.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support is vital to the team in the provision of advanced and enhanced services.

• Assist the Pharmacist in developing the pharmacy business by ensuring the dispensary delivers a superb level of customer service and operates effectively with regards to company policies and procedures.
• Assist on the front counter and be a great welcome and support to patients.
