Job summary

Day Lewis Woodley is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser to join a high-volume, supportive team at Units 1 & 2, Loddon Vale Centre, Woodley, Reading. The role is 30 hours per week with potential for additional hours in the future, and offers hands-on experience in a busy community pharmacy.

You’ll support dispensing, customer service and daily operations, gaining valuable insight under the guidance of the co-owner Pharmacist Manager.

Qualifications

• Assist with safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9:00am – 4:00pm (60-minute unpaid lunch break)

Day Lewis Woodley is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser to join our friendly, hardworking team.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside our co-owner and resident Pharmacist Manager, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the fast-moving world of community pharmacy. Based in a busy 20,000-item pharmacy, no two days are the same. The Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant / Dispenser, you'll play an important role in supporting the pharmacy team and ensuring patients receive safe, efficient and professional care.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
• Supporting the Pharmacist Manager and wider team with daily pharmacy operations
• Providing excellent customer service at the counter and over the telephone
• Supporting NHS and private pharmacy services
