Job summary

SJB Medical is recruiting a Functional Assessor in Poole to conduct and report on functional assessments supporting health-related benefits. You will apply clinical judgement in a structured, supportive environment with regular hours and no night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic or Pharmacist).
• Have at least 12 months' post-registration experience within the last 5 years.
• Have no current restrictions to practice.
• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional assessments and produce clear, accurate, high-quality reports.
• Use clinical judgement to assess a wide range of physical and mental health conditions.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records in line with clinical governance and quality standards.
• Engage in ongoing training, CPD, and clinical supervision.
• Deliver assessments with empathy, professionalism and integrity.
