Job summary

SJB Medical is seeking a Functional Assessor to apply clinical expertise in assessing health-related benefit applications at UK centres. Expect regular hours, no night shifts, and no weekend work, with a supportive multidisciplinary team and structured training pathways.

You will conduct assessments, document findings, and collaborate with healthcare professionals, enjoying career development opportunities and a predictable schedule.

Qualifications

• Be a registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist).
• Have at least 12 months' post-registration experience within the last 5 years.
• Have no current restrictions to practice.
• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report-writing skills.

• Guaranteed £2,000 salary uplift within your first year (subject to approval milestones and contract)

About the role

As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise in a new and rewarding way, carrying out functional assessments that support individuals applying for health-related benefits.
