Job summary

Rowlands Pharmacy in Glasgow is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our team at the Austen's branch. The role is 33 hours per week (Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 11 hours each day) with a supportive, community-focused environment and Medipac robotic distribution to free up time for patient care.

You will dispense medicines accurately, counsel patients, collaborate with doctors and nurses, maintain records and inventory, and participate in immunization where applicable.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC.
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunization services (where applicable).
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.

This branch is staffed with an experienced fully staffed team , providing an excellent service to the local community from their setting, where parking is available in the street. in a. Currently dispensing around 10,000 items per month, this is a busybranch. As well as providing a variety of services, this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.

The branch uses ProScript system.
