Rowlands Pharmacy in Bedale is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to join our community-focused team. You will work alongside a supportive staff to deliver high-quality patient care in a busy branch.

As a GPhC-registered pharmacist with proven community experience, you will dispense accurately, counsel patients, collaborate with doctors and nurses, and contribute to public health initiatives within a friendly, local environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist with GPhC.
• Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
• Provide immunisation services where applicable.
• Offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.
• Actively participate in health promotion and public health initiatives.

As a reputable and community oriented pharmacy chain, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients. If you are passionate about improving the well being of individuals in your community and eager to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, we want to hear from you.This branch is staffed with an experienced team including one non-pharm manager, ACT trainee, two HCP level 2 qualified and a HCP traineeproviding an excellent service to the local community from their setting in a remote village on a high street. Currently dispensing around 8,200 items per month, this is a relatively steadbranch. As well as providing a variety of services, such as private weight loss, BP, ABPM, NMS and contraception this branch also utilises our Medipac robotic distribution technology. This frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.This branch uses ProScript.
