An established industry player is seeking Apprentices for Pharmaceutical Operators in a dynamic pilot plant environment. We currently have a number of openings for Apprentices working within our Pilot Plant for shift working Pharmaceutical Operators.
If you would like to gain experience of large-scale API manufacture while studying for a B.Sc. in Chemistry, this could be the opportunity you are looking for. Our pilot plant has the capability to produce a range of different products (both developmental and commercial) at large scale, making this role an exciting opportunity for you to develop your skills and knowledge. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to use a variety of equipment, running multiple chemical syntheses on plant, many of which haven’t been done at scale before.

Job Type: Apprenticeship
Location: Milton Park, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK
Salary: £22,000 plus shift allowance of £8,196
Hours: 12-hour shifts (days and nights) including paid breaks (90 minutes).
Shift Pattern:
42 hours per week on average.
28-day shift pattern cycle:
Week 1: 2 x Day shifts, 2 x Night shifts, 3 days off
Week 2: 2 x Days off, 2 x Day shifts, 3 x Night shifts
Week 2: 4 x Days off, 3 x Day shifts
Week 4: 2 x Night shifts, 5 x Days off
