Job summary

JMD Group UK is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand our Pharma division across the UK. Based in London, you will identify new opportunities, manage key accounts and build lasting relationships with pharmacies, supplement retailers, Ayurvedic clinics and healthcare practitioners.

This full-time, field-based role requires regular travel across the UK, occasional overnight stays, and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven UK pharmacy sales and business development experience.
• Track record of winning new accounts and growing existing business.
• Ability to build relationships with pharmacy buyers, supplement retailers, clinic owners, doctors and healthcare practitioners.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and account management skills.
• Proactive, organised and commercially focused; able to work independently and meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Win new accounts with independent pharmacies, pharmacy groups, supplement stores, health food shops, Ayurvedic clinics, doctors and healthcare practitioners.
• Grow existing accounts through regular visits, product presentations and consistent follow-up.
• Develop distribution for Ayurvedic, herbal wellness, supplement, personal care and consumer healthcare portfolio.
• Secure product listings, generate orders and build repeat business.
• Achieve agreed sales, new account and distribution targets.
• Plan and manage an effective customer visit schedule across the UK.
• Negotiate pricing, promotions and commercial terms within guidelines.
• Support product launches, staff product awareness, merchandising and in-store visibility.
• Coordinate with internal teams on stock availability, deliveries and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipelines, visit reports and forecasts.
• Identify market opportunities and share competitor activity and customer feedback.
