Bolt Pharmacy in Blackburn, UK is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support our fast‑moving dispensing operations. You will be responsible for keeping packing stations stocked, coordinating with Dispensers and Shift Leads, and ensuring orders move quickly and accurately.

You’ll work on-site in Blackburn, follow GDP-like procedures, protect the cold chain, and help maintain safety and cleanliness across the warehouse environment. This role requires a hands‑on, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Understanding warehouse operations, stock control and GDP requirements.
• Careful checking of medication strengths and order matches.
• Ability to stay organized and manage your area independently.
• Clear communication and reliable, consistent effort on every shift.
• Physical ability for continuous on-foot activity and manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Keep packing flowing: respond to packer requests within 3 minutes and replenish medicines and consumables.
• Get medication control right: supply only one medication strength and one matching stack of orders per table, verify before replenishing.
• Protect the cold chain: follow GDP requirements and return temperature-controlled medicines to the fridge when needed.
• Handle medicines safely: use holding areas, never leave medicines unattended, quarantine damaged stock.
• Keep the floor safe and ready: tidy stations, clear exits, report hazards promptly, and operate equipment within training.
• Work as one team: support colleagues, cover breaks and flag stock discrepancies or rotation errors.
