ENTRUST PEOPLE LIMITED is recruiting a Research Scientist in Bradford to join its R&D team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role focuses on pharmaceutical crystal and particle engineering, formulation development and analytical characterization.

The successful candidate will typically hold a PhD or related postgraduate experience in pharmaceutical sciences or chemistry, with strong data interpretation skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach in a small, fast-moving team.

Qualifications

• PhD or relevant postgraduate experience in pharmaceutical sciences.
• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
• Knowledge of solid-state science or pharmaceutical materials.
• Strong data interpretation skills.
• Interest in human health and medicines.
• Team-oriented and adaptable.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D projects across pharmaceutical development, formulation and particle engineering.
• Interpret analytical data to support project progression.
• Assist with experimental design, troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Collaborate across internal development programmes and client projects.
• Use analytical techniques to assess material properties and formulation performance.
• Communicate findings through reports and team discussions.
• Adapt to changing project priorities and client requirements.
