Job summary

STADA UK Thornton & Ross is offering a 12-month fixed term Quality Control placement for a 2nd year BSc student. Based in Huddersfield, the role involves hands-on lab work testing raw materials and finished products using HPLC and wet chemistry, ensuring data quality and compliance with GMP standards.

You will contribute to data integrity, investigations, and ensure timely reporting while adopting a flexible shift pattern and supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a science degree
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• Attention to detail and creativity

Responsibilities

• Testing samples to KPIs using pharmacopoeia methods such as titration, HPLC, UV, IR
• Data interpretation of results and reporting
• Completion of analytical records per GMP requirements
• Assessing results for out of specifications and raising LIRs as needed
• Assisting with Phase 1 and Phase 2 investigations
• Working shift patterns: Rotational days (Mon-Thu 0600-1336/1330-2200; Fri 0600-1336/1330-1730)
