Job summary

Cencora, Inc. is seeking a Multi Drop Van Driver in Letchworth to ensure speedy, efficient delivery of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals. This full-time role involves 48 hours per week across Mon-Fri and Saturdays, with a salary around £37,489.92.

You will perform daily vehicle checks, maintain safe driving, and support warehouse duties while upholding health and safety standards and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Full driving license; points may affect shortlist.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer care.
• Intermediate numeracy and literacy.
• Previous multi-drop delivery driving experience is desirable.
• Route planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe driving and observe speed limits and traffic signs; be mindful of other road users.
• Daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness (lights, brakes, coolant, etc).
• Report faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and both interior and exterior condition.
• Ensure sufficient fuel for the day’s work.
• Maintain vehicle security at all times.
• Check all orders on drop sheets and ensure orders are loaded.
• Collect goods returned for credit and return to branch as instructed by management.
• Address damages/breakages per HazChem procedures.
• Maintain a smart appearance and good customer relations.
• Support warehouse tasks and adhere to Health & Safety requirements.
