Job summary

Alliance Healthcare, part of Cencora, is hiring a Multi Drop Van Driver in Hinckley to perform daily pharmaceutical deliveries with a 3.5-tonne van.

You will load totes, maintain vehicle checks, and provide excellent customer service while meeting delivery schedules. We offer service-based holidays, uniform and PPE, a contributory pension, career development, and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Valid manual driver's licence with no more than 3 live points.
• Proven experience as a Multi Drop Van Driver or similar role.
• Familiarity with local traffic laws and knowledge of delivery areas/routes.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift tote bins up to 25 kg.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 3.5-tonne van to complete daily pharmaceutical deliveries.
• Load and unload totes onto the van while maintaining their integrity and security.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and any other relevant information.
• Communicate with the transport team to relay updates or address issues during delivery.
• Complete daily vehicle checks to ensure the van is roadworthy.
• Carry out upwards of 50 high volume deliveries per day.
