Job summary

Alliance Healthcare, a Cencora company, is hiring a Multi Drop Van Driver in Hinckley. You will safely operate a 3.5-tonne van, complete up to 50 pharmaceutical deliveries daily, and provide excellent customer service while loading totes and maintaining records.

We value reliability, familiarity with local routes, and strong time management. Candidates should be able to work independently and adhere to schedules, with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Valid manual driver's licence with no more than 3 ‘live’ points on your licence.
• Proven experience as a Multi Drop Van Driver or similar role.
• Familiarity with local traffic laws and knowledge of assigned delivery areas/routes.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to delivery schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 3.5-tonne van and complete daily pharmaceutical deliveries.
• Load and unload totes onto the van while maintaining their integrity and security.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and relevant information.
• Communicate effectively with the transport team to relay updates or address issues.
• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
• Lift tote bins up to 25 kg as required.
• Carry out upwards of 50 high-volume deliveries per day.
