Job summary

PureKat Consultancy is recruiting an IT Analyst for our site in Haverhill. The role focuses on maintaining servers, managing Active Directory and Microsoft 365, and ensuring ITIL-aligned support across a regulated environment.

You will work in a busy manufacturing setting, with 36 hours per week (9:00–17:30) and a salary of £40,000 per year. The position requires strong infrastructure and security awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS or related discipline.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and application support.
• Strong experience with Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualization.
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs and firewall technologies.
• Experience with backup, storage and endpoint management solutions.
• Experience in regulated environments (pharma/biotech/medical devices) desirable.
• Awareness of GxP, GMP, GAMP 5, Annex 11 and 21 CFR Part 11 advantageous.
• Strong ITIL-based service management and analytical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers.
• Manage backups.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Manage application configuration.
• Troubleshoot application issues.
• Handle incidents, service requests, problems and changes per ITIL.
• Maintain SLA performance.
• Keep accurate IT asset and configuration records.
• Ensure incidents and changes are documented and managed.
• Provide professional, customer-focused IT support across the site.
• Support validated and regulated computer systems throughout their lifecycle.
• Participate in requirements gathering, risk assessments, validation planning and test execution.
• Maintain documentation and support audits/regulatory inspections.
• Ensure data integrity, system security and compliance; contribute to upgrades, cloud migrations, cybersecurity, deployments; assist with budgeting and licensing.
