Job summary

Production Cleaning Operative (GMP Environment) at Catalent Pharma Solutions, Swindon, is a full-time role based at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site. The job requires delivering cleaning services in line with GMP standards, supporting safe and compliant operations across the site.

You will perform scheduled cleaning tasks, adhere to PPE, COSHH, and infection control requirements, and report faults or health & safety concerns while collaborating with the wider team to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning within GMP/pharma or regulated environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
• Understand hygiene standards and safe working practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and proactive task approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks across production and support areas.
• Work in accordance with GMP standards and site procedures.
• Follow cleaning methods using SOPs and training guidance.
• Ensure correct use of PPE and COSHH colour coding.
• Maintain high hygiene standards across all areas.
• Report faults with cleaning equipment to the Hygiene Supervisor.
• Identify and report building defects or health and safety concerns.
• Complete tasks per daily schedules and supervisor direction.
• Support continuous improvement by maintaining service standards.
• Work with the wider team to support site operations.
