Job summary
CV Technical Limited is seeking an experienced Shift Technician to join a busy manufacturing environment in Wales. The role focuses on maintenance of plant reliability, troubleshooting electrical faults and supporting continuous improvement projects.
The position offers a £50,000 salary with overtime, a Panama shift pattern on a four-week rotation including one week of days, and benefits such as a company pension and on-site parking. Training and development opportunities are provided.
Qualifications
- Time-served electrical apprenticeship and ONC or equivalent qualification.
- Experience maintaining industrial production equipment.
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- PLC, instrumentation and inverter experience advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
- Diagnose electrical faults and minimise production downtime.
- Support installation, project and equipment improvement work.
- Work alongside mechanical and production teams to maintain plant performance.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
