Job summary

Entrust Resource Solutions is seeking an experienced EHS Lead for a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Livingston. You will own and drive the site’s Environmental, Health and Safety programme, coordinating with operations and leadership to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across the facility.

The role focuses on risk assessments, CAPAs, EHS management systems, COSHH, waste and sustainability initiatives, and regulatory registrations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in safety, environmental or engineering-related positions.
• Knowledge of chemical, pharmaceutical and/or environmental processes.
• Degree or significant equivalent EHS experience in related discipline.
• Professional EHS certification would be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Own and support site EHS & Sustainability programmes
• Conduct and improve risk assessments and drive effective CAPAs
• Maintain EHS management systems, policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental legislation
• Manage and develop COSHH processes and chemical assessments
• Support waste management and environmental sustainability initiatives
• Provide EHS advice, guidance and training to operational teams
• Maintain regulatory/legal registers and stay ahead of changing requirements
• Support emergency response planning
• Build effective relationships with relevant regulators
• Lead and support site and group-level EHS projects
