Job summary

Cencora, operating through Alliance Healthcare, is hiring a Multi Drop Van Driver in Aberdeen to ensure the speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals.

The role requires a full driving licence, strong communication, and customer care, with 48 hours per week across Monday to Saturday. We offer a contributory pension, employee assistance, discounts, and 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays.

Qualifications

• A full driving license must be held relevant to the vehicle driven.
• Points on license may affect shortlist decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer care.
• Intermediate numeracy and literacy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure speedy, efficient, and accurate delivery of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies and hospitals.
• Maintain a safe and competent driving standard, obey traffic laws and drive responsibly.
• Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness (lights, brakes, coolant, etc.).
• Report faults, breakdowns, accidents or delays promptly.
• Keep vehicle clean and in good condition, and manage fuel for daily work.
• Maintain vehicle security and ensure orders on drop sheets are loaded correctly.
