Job summary

JLL Workplace Management in London is seeking an experienced governance and compliance professional to support the Divisional Director across the PFI portfolio. You will drive operational excellence, governance effectiveness, and continuous improvement, ensuring contractual compliance and quality management.

You’ll lead governance forums, develop standard reporting templates, and coordinate lessons learned while promoting best practice across contracts.

• Significant experience in PFI or complex FM environments.
• Strong understanding of governance and contractual compliance.
• Experience undertaking audits and quality reviews.

Responsibilities

• Governance & Contract Compliance Assurance: oversight of governance and compliance arrangements; review outputs and identify risks.
• Oversight of Contract Support Leads: establish standards and coordinate governance forums; share lessons learned.
• Contractual Reporting & Performance Assurance: assess reports against schedules; develop standard reporting templates.
• Quality Management & Assurance: implement assurance programmes; conduct governance reviews and track corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement & Best Practice: identify recurring issues; perform root cause analysis and replicate best practices.
• Business Management Responsibilities: support governance meetings; assist with planning, mobilisation and transformation projects.

ROLE PURPOSE

To support the Divisional Director in driving operational excellence, contractual compliance, governance effectiveness and continuous improvement across the PFI portfolio. The role acts as the divisional lead for governance assurance, performance analysis, quality management and best practice implementation.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Governance & Contract Compliance Assurance

• Maintain oversight of governance and compliance arrangements.
• Monitor adherence to contractual governance requirements.
• Review governance outputs, compliance reports and assurance activities.
• Identify governance weaknesses and compliance risks.
• Develop divisional governance standards and assurance frameworks.

2. Oversight of Contract Support Leads

• Establish divisional governance standards.
• Facilitate governance and compliance forums.
• Coordinate lessons learned and best practice sharing.
• Promote standardisation across all contracts.

3. Contractual Reporting & Performance Assurance

• Assess reports against contractual schedules.
• Verify service reports contain appropriate contractual evidence.
• Challenge poor-quality or non-compliant reporting.
• Develop standard reporting templates and frameworks.

4. Quality Management & Assurance

• Develop and implement an assurance programme.
• Undertake governance reviews and quality audits.
• Track corrective and preventative actions.

5. Continuous Improvement & Best Practice

• Identify recurring operational and contractual issues.
• Undertake root cause analysis.
• Develop improvement initiatives.
• Capture lessons learned and replicate best practice.

6. Business Management Responsibilities

• Support divisional governance meetings.
• Support business planning, mobilisation and transformation projects.
• Produce management reports and presentations.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Significant experience within PFI, or complex FM environments.
• Strong understanding of contractual compliance and governance.
• Experience undertaking audits and quality reviews.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Continuous improvement experience
