Job summary

PreventiPest Limited in Cornwall area is hiring a qualified Pest Control Technician to cover South Devon. This full-time role starts on a 3-month contract with potential to become permanent, offering £26,500 per annum plus overtime and bonuses.

You will carry out inspections and treatments across domestic and commercial premises, perform proofing, write reports, and maintain safety standards. A strong customer focus and readiness to travel within Devon are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year pest control experience.
• RSPH Level 2 Pest Management certification is mandatory.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to write reports and conduct risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pest inspections to identify pest species, entry points, and infestation levels.
• Plan and deliver effective pest control treatment programmes.
• Apply treatments safely in line with regulations and product label instructions.
• Complete follow-up visits and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Carry out minor proofing works and provide prevention advice.
• Communicate findings, treatments and safety information to customers.
• Write detailed inspection reports using digital systems.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Identify opportunities to recommend or sell additional services where appropriate.
