Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to visit commercial and domestic sites, delivering bird and rodent-proofing solutions and installation of pest-control hardware. You will manage safety, lead job progression, and support customers with high-quality service.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, good communication, and flexibility to work a 40-hour week with potential overtime and weekend work. Training is provided as part of our industry-leading program.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• DBS check may be required depending on the role.

Responsibilities

• Visit new and existing commercial and domestic customers, providing bird and rodent-proofing solutions.
• Install pest control hardware, such as external bait stations, and use the Flexi Armour system.
• Support routine inspections and assist local technicians as needed.
• As lead technician, oversee job progression from start to finish, ordering materials and accessing equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service, identify pest problems, and explore new business opportunities.
