Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to cover Coventry, Rugby to Hereford, managing schedules and solving customer problems in person. You will visit sites to install bird/rodent protections, service pest control hardware, and lead projects from start to finish while ensuring safety and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• GCSE Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• DBS check may be required depending on the role.

Responsibilities

• Visit commercial and domestic customers, delivering bird and rodent-proofing solutions.
• Install pest control hardware and use the Flexi Armour system to prevent pest ingress.
• Manage job safety, follow risk assessments and method statements, and work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Lead job progression from start to finish, order materials, and access equipment as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and identify pest problems while exploring new business opportunities.
