Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician for the Coventry branch, covering from Rugby to Hereford. You will manage your own schedule and solve on-site pest-related problems, with opportunities for overtime and commissions.

The role includes handling bird and rodent-proofing projects, installing hardware, and delivering exceptional customer service in a field-based setting. A full UK driving licence and flexible patterns are required.

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
GCSE Maths and English (level C/4 or above) advantageous.
Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
DBS check may be required depending on role.

Responsibilities

Visit commercial and domestic customers to provide bird and rodent-proofing solutions.
Install pest control hardware and support inspections; assist local technicians as needed.
Manage job safety, risk assessments and safe working practices, especially at heights or in confined spaces.
Lead technician duties: oversee job progression, order materials and access equipment.
Provide excellent customer service, identify pest problems and explore new business opportunities.
