Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Pest Control Technician in Corby/Peterborough on a permanent basis. The role involves visiting stores, food halls, depots, and offices to carry out inspections and deliver a compliant pest control service, including detailed reporting and health and safety adherence.

You will manage infestations, provide timely responses to emergencies, and generate store-facing observations and recommendations for corrective actions as part of a nationwide contract

Qualifications

• Experience in pest control environment.
• Experience in retail, leisure or FM sector is desirable.
• Full driving license.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all pest related issues, i.e. infestations/cleaning/proofing, to resolve ongoing problems.
• Respond promptly to genuine emergency call outs from the Helpdesk.
• Formulate detailed reports on stores, escalating issues to all relevant stakeholders.
• Identify infestation non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Area Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
• Prioritise detailed recommendations to stores to achieve agreed timescales and response times to proactively defend against Pest activity.
• Carry out proofing works and installations within the individual's technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
• Advise and document to the SM of any pest activity and how this may be detrimental to the smooth running of the store.
• Always comply with the company Health and Safety Policy.
• Use pesticides in a safe and responsible manner as specified under the Control of Substances

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Pest Control Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will require visiting stores, food halls, outlets, depots & also office sites at agreed intervals governed by the specification service delivery and carrying out a detailed inspection in a safe and professional manner with due regard to Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations. This would involve providing an effective service to our clients site to effectively communicate observations verbally as well as in writing via the reports.

• Royal Society of Health Cert in Pest Control or British Pest Control Association Diploma's Part 1 and 2.
• Full driving license.
• Experience with Pest control environment.
• Experience in retail, leisure or FM sector is desirable.

• £33,982.49-£37,565.78 (including on call 1:4)
• 40 - 45 hour week (choice of hours – salary will reflect this)
