Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Pest Control Technician to join the team. You will service stores, food halls, depots and offices, conducting detailed inspections and communicating observations in writing via reports.

The role involves visiting various sites, complying with Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations, and delivering effective service under the specified contract.

Qualifications

• Royal Society of Health Pest Control or British Pest Control Association diploma(s) required.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience in pest control environments.
• Experience in retail, leisure or facilities management (FM) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of pest-related issues, including infestations, cleaning, and proofing.
• Respond promptly to emergency call-outs from the Helpdesk.
• Prepare detailed reports on stores and escalate issues to stakeholders.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant/machinery and advise on replacements.
• Prioritise recommendations to stores to meet timescales and defend against pests.
• Carry out proofing works and installations within technical competence per specifications.
• Inform the Site Manager of pest activity and potential impact on store operations.
• Comply with the company Health and Safety policy and safe pesticide use.

£33,982.49 - £37,565.78 (including on call 1:4)

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Pest Control Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will require visiting stores, food halls, outlets, depots & also office sites at agreed intervals governed by the specification service delivery and carrying out a detailed inspection in a safe and professional manner with due regard to Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations. This would involve providing an effective service to our clients site to effectively communicate observations verbally as well as in writing via the reports.

Key Responsibilities - Pest Control Technician

• Take ownership of all pest related issues, i.e. infestations/cleaning/proofing, to resolve ongoing problems.
• Respond promptly to genuine emergency call outs from the Helpdesk.
• Formulate detailed reports on stores, escalating issues to all relevant stakeholders.
• To identify infestation non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Area Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
• To prioritise detailed recommendations to stores and to achieve agreed timescales and response times to proactively defend against Pest activity.
• To carry out proofing works and installations within the individual's technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
• To advise and document to the SM of any pest activity and how this may be detrimental to the smooth running of the store.
• To always comply with the company Health and Safety Policy.
• Use pesticides in a safe and responsible manner as specified under the Control of Substances

Qualifications & Experience - Pest Control Technician

• Royal Society of Health Cert in Pest Control or British Pest Control Association Diploma's Part 1 and 2.
• Full driving license.
• Experience with Pest control environment.
• Experience in retail, leisure or FM sector is desirable.

• £33,982.49-£37,565.78 (including on call 1:4)
• 40 - 45 hour week (choice of hours - salary will reflect this)
• Travel time paid after half hour each way
