Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust's Outwood Academy Adwick is seeking a PLC Coordinator to lead the Personalised Learning Centre, delivering alternative courses and intervention strategies for vulnerable students, and to collaborate with SLT to timetables.

You will identify cohorts, build SMART action plans, provide mentoring, and engage external services; this role offers professional development through the Outwood Institute of Education.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a school environment with young people facing difficulties.
• Ability to communicate with diverse audiences and manage time effectively.
• Ability to develop programmes to build self-esteem and confidence.

Responsibilities

• Identify student cohorts for the alternative curriculum and deliver relevant courses.
• Liaise with external services (Social and Youth Services, Education Welfare Service, Probation Service).
• Develop time-bound action plans with SMART targets to remove barriers to learning.
• Support pupils toward further education, apprenticeships or employment.
