Job summary

Outwood Academy Adwick in Doncaster is seeking a proactive PLC Coordinator to lead the Personalised Learning Centre and tailor interventions for vulnerable student cohorts.

You will collaborate with SLT and the Inclusion Team to craft personalised timetables and deliver relevant qualifications, while promoting the welfare and progression of students toward further education or employment.

Qualifications

• Essential experience working in a school environment with young people facing difficulties and vulnerabilities.
• Ability to develop programmes of work to build self-esteem and confidence.
• Strong communication across diverse audiences and excellent organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify student cohorts for the alternative curriculum and deliver relevant courses to provide qualifications.
• Build and maintain multi-agency liaison, acting as single point of contact for support services.
• Create time-bound action plans with SMART targets to remove barriers to learning and mentor pupils.
