Castle Employment Group in Leeds is recruiting a Personal Tax Senior or Manager to manage a portfolio of personal tax clients within a respected North Leeds practice. The role blends compliance and advisory work, with a clear path toward partner-level progression.

The position offers hybrid working, a salary of £45,000–£50,000 DOE, and a supportive team environment focused on long-term relationships and professional development.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years' experience in personal tax within an accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance; exposure to advisory work.
• Supervisory/management experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence dealing with clients.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines and varied workload.
• Experience using IRIS, Microsoft Office and Excel would be beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns for accuracy and HMRC compliance.
• Providing personal tax advice and guidance to clients on tax matters.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships with regular meetings.
• Mentoring junior members of the tax team where appropriate.
• Liaising with Partners and colleagues across the practice to deliver high-quality service.
• Identifying opportunities to provide additional tax advice and support to clients.
