Clark Wood are recruiting for a Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Droitwich.

You’ll manage a varied portfolio of individuals, company directors, landlords and HNWIs, with exposure to both compliance and advisory work. ATT qualified or studying towards ATT/CTA or QBE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous UK practice Personal Tax experience.
• Experience as Personal Tax Assistant, Semi Senior or Senior is preferred.
• ATT qualification or studying towards ATT/CTA or QBE is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns.
• Dealing with employment, self-employment, property and investment income.
• Preparing tax computations and dealing with Capital Gains Tax.
• Handling day-to-day personal tax queries.
• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC.
• Assisting with tax planning and advisory work.
• Building strong client relationships.
• Working closely with the Tax Partner and wider tax team.

Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior – Droitwich

£38,000 to £44,000

Clark Wood are recruiting for a Personal Tax Semi Senior / Senior to join an independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Droitwich.

The role would suit a Personal Tax Assistant, Semi Senior or Senior with UK practice experience who is ATT qualified, studying towards ATT/CTA or qualified by experience.

You’ll work closely with the Tax Partner, managing a varied portfolio of individuals, company directors, landlords and HNWIs, with exposure to both compliance and advisory work.

The Role

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns
• Dealing with employment, self-employment, property and investment income
• Preparing tax computations and dealing with Capital Gains Tax
• Handling day-to-day personal tax queries
• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
• Assisting with tax planning and advisory work

About You

• Previous Personal Tax experience within UK accountancy practice
• Experience as a Personal Tax Assistant, Semi Senior or Senior
• ATT qualified, studying ATT/CTA or QBE
• Good knowledge of UK personal tax and Self Assessment
• Experience managing or assisting with a client portfolio
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Keen to progress within Personal Tax
