Personal Tax Semi Senior

Accountancy Practice and Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a highly regarded independent firm of chartered accountants as they look to add a Personal Tax Semi Senior to their team in Northwich.

The role will see you assisting in the management of a diverse client portfolio including HNWIs, company directors, and landlords for whom you will be responsible for ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation of personal tax computations and returns.

As well as the day to day compliance work for your clients, there will be future scope for you to have involvement with the provision of tax advisory services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in personal tax work and may be studying towards, or have recently completed, the ATT Qualification. Individuals who have yet to commence ATT studies but would be interested in doing so will also be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the management of a portfolio of clients
• Communicating directly with clients
• Preparation of personal tax returns
• Support the preparation and submission of personal tax returns, ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Assist in calculating tax liabilities and preparing client communications under the guidance of senior team members.
• Help prepare and submit P11Ds Liaise with HMRC and other third parties on routine client matters.
