Job summary

Taxation in Leeds is seeking a Personal Tax specialist at Manager level to join the firm’s Tax Services Group North. You will manage a growing portfolio of individuals, trusts, partnerships and LLPs, handling personal tax compliance and ad hoc advisory work from landed estates and rural businesses.

The role includes mentoring junior staff, with opportunities to engage in firm-wide advisory, committees and presentations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering and managing personal tax compliance services.
• Experience reviewing the work of junior tax staff.
• Strong organisational skills to meet deadlines.
• Advisory experience in inheritance and capital gains tax planning, international tax and trust planning.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients including individuals, trusts, partnerships and LLPs.
• Provide ad hoc tax advice within the compliance cycle.
• Review work of junior tax staff and develop on-the-job training.
• Participate in firm-wide advisory, committees and presentations if desired.
