The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a portfolio of private clients, leading the delivery of personal tax compliance work, and playing a key role in supporting the wider team. Duties will include:
Overseeing the preparation and review of personal tax returns for a varied client base.
Acting as a main point of contact for client queries and providing ad hoc compliance-related advice.
Identifying opportunities to add further value through additional services or insights.
Coaching and supporting junior team members.
Contributing to process improvement and helping drive operational efficiencies.
Playing an active role in maintaining a strong and supportive team culture.
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in personal tax compliance, ideally within a professional services environment.
Confidence managing client relationships and delivering clear, insightful advice.
Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
A collaborative, proactive approach and good attention to detail.
A professional qualification (ATT, CTA, or CA) is desirable, but strong experience will also be considered.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Location & Flexibility
The firm offers a fully flexible, hybrid working model. You can be based remotely (Scotland-based), or work from their offices inEdinburgh or Glasgow, with occasional in-person team meetups and client meetings as needed.
