Job summary

Meridian Business Support Ltd, acting on behalf of our client, is recruiting a Personal Shopper & Delivery Driver in Tamworth. You will pick customer orders, manage them on a smartphone-like device and deliver completed orders to customers when required.

This is a two-day temporary assignment starting Tuesday, 6 October, at £18.00 per hour. You will need a full UK driving licence and access to a suitable car; immediate start and potential for further ongoing work.

Meridian Business Support is recruiting Personal Shopper & Delivery Drivers on behalf of our client to support the launch of a new supermarket fulfilment and home delivery service in Tamworth, B77 2BS.

This is an active, customer-facing role combining order picking, retail support and customer deliveries. You'll work independently using a company-provided device to manage orders, pick products and deliver completed orders directly to customers when required.

What you'll be doing

• Checking orders before dispatch
• Delivering customer orders using your own vehicle
• Providing excellent customer service
• Following clear processes and working independently

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Online Order Picker, Retail Assistant, Warehouse Operative, Store Assistant, Customer Service Assistant or Fulfilment Operative would be advantageous but is not essential.

• Ability to obtain Hire & Reward insurance before making deliveries
